Painting a little bird house
Klara found a little ready-to-paint ceramic bird feeder earlier this week in an "outdoor" catch-all type-store in Amagansett, NY where we spent a few blessed days with friends. She singled it out as an item she really wanted and then waited patiently (for a 3yr old) for two days to get it. Earlier today, she painted it with Emily out on the patio. Here is one of the videos.

I love what she's doing with her tongue- does she do that when she's concentrating? It looks like she's going to be an artist because she definatly painted a beautiful birdhouse. Give her big hugs and kisses from her Aunt Mindy! Love to you all!

Little Monet painting her little birdhouse..
Yeah, I was hoping someone would notice what she's doing with her tongue. She does do that when she's concentrating, usually coloring with crayons. So cute. Notice she uses both hands, too. All the other clips of this showed her using left hand exclusively, but in this one she switches between both hands. What a prodigy! ;)
