We spent the weekend with Mary, Paul, Henry, baby Esther and (Paul's) family at their home in southwest Virginia, tucked between the Catawba Mountains and the Blue Ridge Mountain Range. The area is verdant and hilly, and Paul's family are warm, engaging and loving people. As is evident in the photos, the environment also provides a pleasant, fitting setting for other kinds of natural beauty; which to me are more spectacular! [Bravo and thank you, Mary, for the photos, which as all can see are exceptional. And congratulations to you and Paul. It was good to be with you.]
