A summer evening in Old Town, Alexandria

[The camera phone takes some quality pictures and some not so much] Regardless, it could hardly capture what was a perfect June evening. We took the Metro to Old Town late in the afternoon on a recent Saturday. Arriving at King Station, we walked (Klara strolled) down down King Street to the waterfront, stopping for ice cream and baby needs at a park bench in the old town center. Finishing our evening, we sat outside at a sidewalk restaurant off the main street that serves pretty good Southern fare. Best of all, Klara thoroughly enjoyed the outing.
