Here are the back to school photos. John Michael was staying with us the night before. We had a nice spaghetti dinner together before prepping the girls for an early rise. He did the morning commute with us and was dropped off at the rail stop on our way to school. The head of staff introduced me to the whole assembly of students and parents to announce that I am teaching music there. I'm excited! Klara was thrilled to see her new classroom and desk. She already knows her teacher well because it is a small school. Her teacher grew up in Germany for part of her childhood. Marshall was there for all of the festivities as well. We have both signed up for committees (fundraising and headmaster search.) It's hard to believe we are already in the day-to-day routine. It feels like a temporary change from the summer routine, but this is for the long-haul! Still working out the kinks....
