We spent a sunny Sunday afternoon walking along King Street in Old Town, Alexandria to the riverfront. Klara was keen to ride the free trolley shuttle and to take in the many sights and sounds. There was a bluegrass band down by the dock, a balloon-figure maker and other things. (You can see in the photo a balloon flower in one hand and her "purse" in the other. Funny, the purse's contents consisted mostly of a doll.) After enjoying a cupcake at Alexandria Cupcake she was ready to go home. When we arrived at the door she had a spring in her step.
