Klara and I spent an hour or so in the library in the late morning, and when we came out we discovered the exterior plaza had been turned into a kidfest. One of the things in which we partook was a Sno-Cone stand, flavored ice free for kiddies under 12 years old.
Klara had her first ever Sno-Cone, which she initially tried to eat by picking up the syrup-drenched ice granules between her fingers and eating, and then by the more direct method. It was a timely treat, given the hot, humid temp and her recent discomfort from teething. (Emily says that K is getting her "canine" teeth, and it hurts.)
The whole Sno-Cone business had a soundtrack in my head, as it effectively prompted a recurrent loop of this jingle.

well done, my little friend.
on a side note, if you ever end up in austin, tx you will be served that little sno-cone in the form of an adult beverage.
