We spent a balmy and mostly rainy afternoon in Charleston, SC last month on our way back from Hilton Head. It was far too brief an amount of time in a rather extraordinary city with much to see and appreciate.
After parking by the College of Charleston, we headed down to the Market, pausing for several minutes to wait out a rainstorm. We walked around the sightly campus, looking at the refinements of another age, historic buildings set under a grand canopy of majestic trees. Meanwhile, Klara splashed in little puddles, ran down paths and across stretches of wet, green grass. Now, a few weeks later, we looked through the developed roll (it was a disposable camera) and found a few photos that are among our all-time favorites.
[The Ergo Baby Carrier was perfect for the occasion. Klara waited patiently inside it during the rainstorm, and slept comfortably in it while we were on the move.]
