She hears this a lot. After two more comments this afternoon when we were out for lunch, we thought that we should look more closely at the baby food jars.
Our favorite occasion was last month while down on the Mall. A young tourist couple from China approached and asked in broken English if they could video a few seconds of Baby K. With a friendly squeeze of one of Klara's little arms, the young woman suddenly exclaimed rather loudly, in a moment of seeming recognition and excitement, "Gerber baby, Gerber baby!"
